　　　　在日本大城市的某个角落，生活着一个与周遭格格不入的沉默女孩久美子（菊地凛子饰）。她是灰暗的匆忙世界中难得一见的一抹亮色，只不过大多时候她都泯灭人群之中。每天上班时分，穿着工装的她宛如没有灵魂的木偶，目光呆滞地等待下班时间。同侪们聚在一起讨论时尚话题，她则蜷缩在茶水间为上司准备茶水，心中隐藏着促狭阴暗的念头，只不过最终没有勇气实现。久美子是一只没有自由的工蚁，被上司使唤来使唤去，她空虚呆滞地行走，甚至不愿跟老同学们有任何的交流和接触。夜幕降临，逼仄的公寓内是她小而安全的理想王国。她用泡面喂兔子，最爱观看的是一部名为《冰血暴》（Fargo，1996）的电影。由于反复播放，录影带的画质已经不堪入目，她坚信剧中人所埋藏的宝藏一定存在。世界那么大，她想去挖挖。
