◎简 介
影片以1960年代初的纽约音乐界为背景，重现了鲍勃·迪伦插电争议的始末。 19岁的鲍勃·迪伦（提莫西·查拉梅 Timothée Chalamet 饰）背着吉他，从明尼苏达来到纽约西村，他的民谣歌曲得到了偶像的赏识和乐迷的青睐，原本寂寂无名的鲍勃迅速成为纽约民谣界炙手可热的新星。1965年的纽波特民谣音乐节上，鲍勃·迪伦首次在舞台上使用了电吉他，不仅颠覆了民谣音乐的定义，更重新书写了美国音乐的未来。 本片根据以利亚·沃尔德创作的纪实文学《迪伦要插电》改编。
