◎简 介
位于赤道附近的寸外共和国某个未开发的秘境发现丰富的稀土资源，来自日本的村上商事试图获得当地的开发权，但遭到原住民的反对，还被女巫博诺伊（水原希子 饰）做出恶毒诅咒。该公司职员贺美慎一（东山纪之 饰）找到自称天才物理学家的上田次郎（阿部宽 饰），希望借助他之手戳破女巫的巫术骗局。而在意外目睹诅咒之死的惊人一幕后，心有余悸的上田找到灰头土脸的山田奈绪子（仲间由纪惠 饰），邀请对方和她一同踏上凶险的旅程。与此同时，刑警矢部谦三（生濑胜久 饰）和搭档秋叶原人（池田铁洋 饰）为调查案件也来到当地。 诅咒接二连三应验，甚至连上田也无法幸免。更令众人始料未及的是，更大的危机即将降临这个地区……
