◎简 介
拉马努金（戴夫·帕特尔 Dev Patel 饰）出生在印度一个非常贫困的家庭之中，从很小的时候起，他就展现出了异于常人的数学天赋，可是因为家境贫寒，家人无法给拉马努金提供一个良好的教育环境。1904年，拉马努金凭借着自己的努力进入了贡伯戈纳姆大学就读，却因为严重偏科而没有毕业，之后的日子里，拉马努金开始自学数学。 1912年，拉马努金所撰写的论文《伯努尼数的一些性质》发表了，这篇文章在数学界激起了一些水花，也给拉马努金带来了些许的名声。之后，在好友的帮助下，拉马努金给著名数学家哈代（杰瑞米·艾恩斯 Jeremy Irons 饰）写了自荐信，哈代非常重视这位前途无量的年轻人，引荐他进入了剑桥大学深造。
